# Hermes ↔ Grok Bot operator manual

Agents pass jobs. They do not chat. Wiring (Tailscale, SSH relay, `:8642`) is infra and lives in [MANUAL.md](MANUAL.md) if you need to rebuild a box.
|
|
|
|
## Hard rules
|
|
|
|
- Jobs in `Tony_tech/personal-agent-os` → `memory-systems/agent-os/04_projects/<project>/jobs/`
|
|
- CoS owns job `state`. Workers only add event files.
|
|
- No Funnel. No public bind on `:8642`.
|
|
- Never commit keys or vault tokens.
|
|
- Grok may read Hermes memory plugins. Grok may not write them.
|
|
- Human does every login and every Save / Send / publish / spend.
|
|
|
|
