Branch: gate-b

Sprint: Gate B · Order 2/10 · Depends on: #21 (seq-01)

Acceptance (IMPL-PLAN): Client (or shared pure) tests green for TECH-SPEC vectors; bdft identity holds (no /12); rounding matches TV-10.

Test-SPEC case IDs: TV-3, TV-10

Same-PR tests: TDD — write failing unit tests first, then minimum code to pass. Shown output on real fixtures.

In scope:

  • BDFT identity: bdft = sqft x thickness_in (1 sqft @ 1" = 1 bdft, no divide-by-12)
  • Rounding: half-up to 2 decimals for length, sqft, bdft, price
  • Property checks: bdft monotonic in thickness/sqft

Out of scope:

  • Pricing rules, length axis, crop, server-side processing

Done when / evidence: Unit tests green for TV-3, TV-10 with real fixture output printed in PR/commit message.
