# Thornhill Construction Website

Family-owned deck builders in Placerville, CA — since 1977.
|
||
|
||
**Live site source:** single-page HTML app with client-side routing (Home / Our Decks / About & Contact).
|
||
|
||

|
||
- Full site structure, branding, NAP, trust signals, and copy are in place.
|
||
- Contact form is front-end only (demo submission).

- **Images are still Unsplash placeholders** — marked with `<!-- REPLACE with real photo... -->` comments.

||

||
## Next steps for photos
|
||
1. Gather real project photos (before/after decks, stairs, ramps, completed installs).
|
||
2. Optimize them (WebP or compressed JPG, ~1200–1600px wide).
|
||
3. Place in an `images/` folder in this repo:
|
||
- `images/new-deck-install.jpg`
|
||
- `images/deck-repair.jpg`
|
||
- `images/before-1.jpg` / `after-1.jpg`
|
||
- `images/before-2.jpg` / `after-2.jpg`
|
||
- `images/before-3.jpg` / `after-3.jpg`
|
||
- (optional hero background)
|
||
4. Update the `src` attributes in `index.html` and remove the placeholder comments.
|
||

Open `index.html` in a browser or serve with any static file server.
