## Learned / Decided
|
|
|
|
- **Athena Oracle rendered + deploy blocked on SSH.** Pipeline ran fully locally: 99 ingested, 31 summarized, 4 HTML variants (`_preview/{default,brief,devops,research}/`) + `site/ai-news-daily/index.html` (12KB, 50 stories). Deployment to `preprod1.afterthedemo.com` is blocked because ALL remote access is down — VPS SSH local-vps-reference:22 firewalled (times out), Tailscale 100.64.0.1:22 times out, all users/auth rejected. Gitea (:80/443) + headscale (:8443) still reachable (VPS alive, only SSH blocked).

|
- **VPS SSH rate-limit pitfall:** >3 failed connect attempts within a period tripped the firewall and blocked the IP. Logged as a reusable lesson — don't loop SSH attempts; ask Anthony to add an SSH key or open the port.
|
|
- **Deploy path alternatives:** Anthony adds `~/.ollama/id_ed25519.pub`/`~/ssh-keys/vps-deploy.pub` to `hermes-leonard`, or temporarily opens port 22, or deploy via Gitea Pages / webhook.
|
|
|
|
