# Photon iMessage setup on Tony's Windows box: ONE Photon project "Hermes Agent" (

Photon iMessage setup on Tony's Windows box: ONE Photon project "Hermes Agent" (dashboard/Spectrum id d018930d-494c-4643-981e-0a01aded32b4, plan free) serves the coach profile — its gateway runs the Node sidecar on 127.0.0.1:8789 (state in profiles/coach/runtime/photon-sidecar.json). Profile jimmy ALSO has the same PHOTON_PROJECT_ID/SECRET copied into .env but platforms.photon.enabled=false, so it has no sidecar and never streams. Photon device token + project ids live in profiles/coach/auth.json under credential_pool.photon / photon_project / photon_user. Photon setup CLI: `hermes photon setup --project-name <name> --phone +1...`; creds go to that profile's .env (PHOTON_PROJECT_ID, PHOTON_PROJECT_SECRET, PHOTON_ALLOWED_USERS) and sidecar port comes from PHOTON_SIDECAR_PORT (default 8789 — two profiles must not share it). Tony's account also has a spare unused free project "Hermes agent" (cda7cb91…). Photon pricing: free + Pro tiers use a managed SHARED number pool (up to 10 users/project free, unlimited daily messages); dedicated lines are Business $250/line/mo. Shared/free lines cannot initiate to a brand-new recipient — the person must text the line first. Photon dashboard API at https://app.photon.codes/api/... is behind Cloudflare and 403s (error 1010) on urllib without a browser User-Agent.
