Sprint: POC · Order 6/16 · Depends on: Gate C acceptance (#33–#38)

Acceptance (IMPL-PLAN): Duplicate SKU at publish: under SKU field, 'This SKU already exists in the store (any status)'; edit SKU or open existing; draft retained; no raw 409.

Test-SPEC case IDs: UIE-3

Same-PR tests: Tests-with-code — Playwright E2E test with pre-existing SKU. Assert duplicate message, edit/open actions, draft retained.

In scope:

Duplicate SKU at publish: under SKU field shows 'This SKU already exists in the store (any status)'
Edit SKU or open existing action; draft retained; no raw 409

Out of scope:

Stale field recovery, publish success, settings UI, inference, capture

Done when / evidence: Playwright E2E test green for UIE-3. Evidence path in commit message.

Verified in main @ 0c00d25 (also covered in #18):

✅ Duplicate SKU message: "SKU already exists" (Publish.svelte:92-99)
✅ Edit SKU + Open existing product buttons
✅ Draft retained, no raw 409 to user

All acceptance criteria met.
