DOP Vertical Prioritization Matrix
Source: 29 bizl.com industry pages + 5 Bizl case studies (committed to Gitea research/bizl-com/).
Filled by Leonard/Hermes 2026-08-09. Honest, no fluff.
Scoring rules
- SCL (Silent Customer Loss Severity, 1–5): How bad if AI skips them? Crisis-intent / emergency / high-urgency = 5.
- LTV (1–5): Money one good client pays over time. Recurring + high-ticket + long retention = 5.
- FIT (1–5): Ease of showing value via Cold Audit → PoC → Retainer. Clear "near me" queries + citation gaps + human-oversight edge = 5.
- Priority = average(SCL, LTV, FIT), rounded 2dp.
- Existing Client Signal = DOP/Tony proof only (Phoenix Salon + Spa, Overcome Fitness). Bizl's case studies are competitor proof — noted in Why, not counted as ours.
Matrix (sorted by Priority desc)
| Industry | SCL | LTV | FIT | Priority | Existing Client | Why / Notes |

| Dentists | 4 | 5 | 4 | 4.33 | No | Highest per-customer LTV (implants/Invisalign). Insurance-matched searchers ready to book. Medical-schema human oversight = DOP edge. Bizl dentist case study. |
| Law Firms | 4 | 5 | 4 | 4.33 | No | Top LTV. Bizl's free 4-min audit maps 1:1 to DOP Cold Audit→PoC. "Attorney near me" = high-intent. Bizl law case study. |
| Accounting | 4 | 5 | 4 | 4.33 | No | "Stay 10 years" LTV framing. Regulated → data-consistency weighted → human oversight edge. Longer sales cycle. |
| Home Renovation | 4 | 5 | 4 | 4.33 | No | High-consideration, high-ticket (kitchen remodel). Long research window = AI answer controls the shortlist. |
| Veterinarians | 5 | 4 | 4 | 4.33 | No | Emergency vet = highest-converting query. Long patient lifetime + referrals. Most practices have unclaimed Foursquare. |

| Plumbers | 5 | 3 | 4 | 4.00 | No | Strongest crisis-intent "competitor gets that call" framing. Easiest Cold Audit win (emergency query visibility). Bizl emergency-plumbing case study. |

Top 5 recommended verticals for DOP first
- HVAC — Crisis-intent + high-ticket + immediate loss. DOP's human-verified emergency availability is a real differentiator Bizl can't claim. Bizl case study proves the vertical responds.
- Plumbers — Purest crisis-intent ("competitor gets that call"). Easiest Cold Audit win (emergency-query visibility is measurable in 48h). Bizl emergency-plumbing case study validates.
- Law Firms — Highest LTV, and Bizl's own free-audit→retainer motion maps 1:1 to DOP's Cold Audit→PoC→Retainer. "Attorney near me" = high-intent, low-friction PoC.
- Dentists — Highest per-customer LTV (implants/Invisalign), insurance-matched searchers ready to book, service-specific queries are clean PoC targets. Medical-schema human oversight = DOP edge.
- Multi-Location — Systemic loss across N sites; Cold Audit scales perfectly and aggregate LTV is highest. Best retainer motion (recurring across locations).
Why these five: all sit in the 4.00–4.33 tier, all have clear "near me" / emergency / high-intent queries that make a Cold Audit visibly valuable fast, and four of five have Bizl case-study proof the vertical converts (de-risks the pitch). Multi-Location adds scale/retainer upside.
Industries to avoid for now
- Restaurants (2.00), Retail Stores (2.00) — low per-customer value, AI discovery is not the deciding factor for these buyers.
- Marketing Agencies (2.33) — sophisticated buyers who resist the "silent loss" narrative; they are competitors/peers, not clients.
- Defer (don't avoid, just later): Accounting, Financial Services, Medical Clinics, Insurance — high LTV but regulated/consistency-weighted → longer PoC and heavier compliance overhead. Strong, but not first-wave.
Data-integrity flags
- Contractors scrape corrupted: dollar amounts rendered as "$0,000-$0,000" — re-scrape
11-industry-contractors.mdbefore using its LTV figure externally. - Bizl case studies (dentist, emergency plumbing, HVAC, law, roofer) are competitor proof the vertical responds to GEO — useful for our pitch framing, NOT DOP's own client proof.
- Roofer appears only as a Bizl case study (file 58), not one of the 29 industry verticals — excluded from the vertical table by design.
