# VeriLens Decisions (v0.2)

- Ship date target: this Friday (installed & working in own browser, not store submission)
- Local-first is the differentiator, not an implementation detail
- Classifier only (BABE-trained DistilBERT/MiniLM-class, quantized). No generative model in v0.2
- Detection only. Rewrite deferred to v0.3
- Omission / factual distortion explicitly rejected for v0.2
- Six-item ship definition is the only definition of done
- Every claim about current transformers.js / ONNX Runtime Web / MV3 offscreen / CSP / dtype semantics must be verified against live docs before building on it
- When something works, record what was actually observed, not just that the step was finished
