Tony's words: "I've been just working on a few things this morning, but mostly I'm going to plan on having a nice day today. I'll return back to work on Monday."
Logged as a declared day off, not a missed one. He'd set the weekend rule himself — play it by ear, floor of 1–2 hours on Saturday — and he was above that floor before noon, so this isn't a drift event and doesn't get counted as one.
Decided today
- Contact paused until Monday. All five check-ins (06:30, 12:30, 16:30, 21:00, 21:30) suspended Saturday and Sunday; a job restores them automatically Monday at 05:45, before the 06:30 brief.
- Arithmetic run, because "how much time is left?" is the question that actually matters:
- Today Sat 12 Sep → finish line Thu 24 Sep = 9 business days = 18 block hours
- Less his pre-booked Grok Bot sessions (~3.5h) = 14.5 hours
- Remaining Thornhill work ≈ 6 hours
- Verdict: comfortable. The only real threat to Sept 24 is weekday blocks that don't run — not a weekend off.
- Sept 25 → Oct 10 = 22 block hours of runway for Veripath before the binary call.

- Dr. Eggbot. He asked what it is. Verified: a Grok Bot on the Grok Bot Marketplace

x.ai/bot/marketplace/bots/dr-eggbot-v2), listed by Lauren Tan — a bot that builds bots. Origin of the interest is his brothers recommending it, which is why it's not logged as AI-news drift. It already has a slot: the Sept 15–17 Grok Bot sessions he booked himself. - Nothing else filed. (Friday evening: getting familiar with GrokBot; nothing concrete reported.)
Drift
- None today. Worth noting the contrast: the same week he opened with AI news at 06:48 and an agents-building-something evening produced a finished profile category on day one. The pattern isn't "he can't focus" — it's that unstructured time is where it goes.

- Larry: travel radius to confirm. The Aug-28 handoff file documents a 7-town service area (Placerville, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, El Dorado Hills, Pollock Pines, Diamond Springs, Somerset) — confirm rather than ask open-ended.
