# Incoming — handoff drop zone

External agents (Hermes, Leonard, etc.) drop documents here for the crew to process.

**To hand off a file:**
- Filename: `YYYY-MM-DD-topic.md`
- Frontmatter, at minimum: `source` and `intent` (see `Meta/agent-handoff.md`)

**intent options:** `idea`, `task`, `note`, `reference`, `meeting`, `person`, `project`

The crew processes these on request — say **"process my handoffs"**.
