# Vault Map

Canonical mapping of vault-role tokens to physical directories. Agents resolve
`{{token}}` placeholders against the YAML frontmatter above. Do not substitute
other `{{...}}` patterns (dates, names, template placeholders).

| `{{projects}}` | `04_projects` | Active projects (status.md + decisions.md per project). |
| `{{areas}}` | `20_Areas` | Personal areas (PARA): Work, Finance, Learning, Personal, Side Projects, VPS. |
| `{{resources}}` | `30_Resources` | Personal resources (transcripts, references, Review Later). |
| `{{archive}}` | `10_archive` | Stale/old projects and cold storage. |
| `{{people}}` | `05_People` | People notes. |
| `{{meetings}}` | `06_Meetings` | Meeting notes, organized by year. |
| `{{daily}}` | `04_Daily` | Daily notes & consolidations. Raw transcripts → `sessions/`. |

> **History note:** On 2026-10-02 this file was inadvertently rewritten to point at
> `02_areas`/`03_resources`/`03_templates`/`03_shared` (empty drift folders). Restored
