Crew agents (Sorter, Seeker, etc.) were resolving to nothing. Stranded `VeriPath/` merged into its project folder The 2026-09-16 "merge" of root `VeriPath/` → `04_projects/veripath/` was incomplete. 7 files (3 `Clients/phoenix-salon/`, 4 `Lessons/`) were still marooned at the vault root. Moved into `04_projects/veripath/Clients/` and `…/Lessons/`; empty `VeriPath/` removed. ### 3. `thornhill-website` archived Project self-declared **ARCHIVED (2026-10-17)** in its own status.md but still lived in `04_projects/`. Moved `04_projects/thornhill-website/` → `10_archive/thornhill-website/`. ### 4. Orphaned MOCs relocated to `MOC/` Four MOC files were outside the `{{moc}}` folder: root `AI & LLM MOC.md`, `Business MOC.md`, `Development MOC.md`, and `03_shared/MOC - Meta.md`. Now in `MOC/`. Wikilinks by basename still resolve, so inbound links are unaffected. ### 5. `Video Stack/` given a proper home (structure evolution) 13 orphaned notes at the vault root (`Video Stack/`, tag `#video-stack`, 6 sub-projects) with no index entry and no parent. Relocated to `04_projects/video-stack/` and given a `status.md`; surfaced in `MOC/Index`, `MOC/Work`, and `index.md`. ### 6. Stray / empty artifacts cleared - Deleted 0-byte orphan dailies at root: `2026-09-17.md`, `2026-10-02.md` - Deleted 0-byte orphan: `20_Areas/Finance/Savings Goals.md` - Removed empty drift folders `02_areas/`, `03_resources/`, `03_templates/` (untracked leftovers) - Relocated `00_Raw/2026-09-16 Welcome to Your Vault.md` → `Meta/2026-09-16 — Note — Welcome to Your Vault.md` and cleared its stale `status: inbox` ### 7. Documentation updated - `Meta/vault-structure.md` — added Agent-OS folders (00_system, 01_user, 01_Wiki, 02_agents, 03_shared, 05_Output, 08_workflows, dream, facts, sessions) - `Meta/tag-taxonomy.md` — registered ~50 recurring real tags (project + system + domain) - `index.md` — thornhill row repointed to archive; video-stack row added --- ## Tag Consistency - Real vault-note tags were audited (placeholder tags like `{{topic-tags}}` exist **only** in crew source files, not in notes — no pollution). - Registered recurring unlisted tags: `#video-stack` (12), `#mirror` (7), `#hermes` (6), `#agent-operations`, `#veripath`, `#phoenix-salon`, `#project-intel`, `#vps`, `#ops`, `#hallucination`, `#tts`, `#tailscale`, `#headscale`, `#political`, `#salon`, etc. - Flagged a long tail of one-off descriptive tags (`#byte-dance`, `#change-amplification`, `#american-english`, …) → recommend a `` pass to demote/merge. --- ## Recommendations 1. **Video Stack: project or area?** Kept it under `04_projects/`, but it may belong as its own area (`20_Areas/Video Stack/`) if it becomes a permanent life domain. Needs Tony's call. 2. **Agent-OS vs crew top-level split.** The vault has two parallel numbering schemes (`00–08` Agent-OS + `04_projects`/`20_Areas`/`30_Resources` PARA). Both are documented now, but a long-term consolidation decision is Tony's. 3. **Missing `status.md`:** `04_projects/hermes-newsroom/` and `04_projects/voicestudio/` have notes but no status file — worth creating. 4. **`05_People/` is empty** despite the `{{people}}` role being mapped — first person note will populate it. 5. **Dangling links** in the pre-crew MOCs (`[[FreeToken]]`, `[[Ollama]]`, `[[Invoices & Billing]]`, `[[Project Name]]`) — a Librarian/Connector pass should resolve or stub them. ## Next Defrag - Confirm Video Stack placement and Agent-OS consolidation direction. - Watch the root: if new root-level folders appear (like `Video Stack/` did), the external Hermes agent is creating structure outside the map — re-map or absorb. - Re-run tag-garden to prune the one-off tag tail. ## Suggested next agent - **Agent**: sorter - **Reason**: A relocated welcome note + newly-homed Video Stack may have sibling captures still unsorted. - **Context**: `00_Raw/Incoming/` is empty (clean). `facts/` and `sessions/` are agent-owned and current. - **Agent**: connector - **Reason**: MOCs were refreshed and 4 MOCs relocated; new links should be validated. - **Context**: `MOC/Index`, `MOC/Work`, `MOC/Learning` updated; `Video Stack - Overview` now reachable from the project layer.
