# jimmy — agent workspace
Owner: jimmy (Hermes profile `jimmy`, Windows desktop `desktop-81cbtv2`)
Scope: this directory is jimmy's exclusive write area in the shared AgentOS vault.

Owner: **jimmy** — that's me. Hermes profile `jimmy`, Windows desktop `desktop-81cbtv2`.
This is my exclusive write area in the vault. Other agents read it; nobody else writes here.
## Shared vault protocol
## Vault protocol
- Vault root: `C:/Users/fight/AgentOS/memory-systems/agent-os` (git repo root: `C:/Users/fight/AgentOS`)
- Memory provider: `zvec-memory`, vault pinned to the path above in the profile config.
- Sync: cron job `vault-sync` (every 6h) — pull --rebase, commit local changes, push to Gitea.
- Change log: cron job `vault-change-log` (daily 06:00) — writes `03_shared/vault-updates-log.md`.
- Canonical vault: `C:/Users/fight/Documents/Obsidian Vault` — also my recall vault
(`plugins.zvec-memory.vault`); the zvec index lives in `.zvec-grep/` there (gitignored).
- Publish mirror (generated, never hand-edited): `C:/Users/fight/AgentOS/memory-systems/agent-os`
→ Gitea `Tony_tech/personal-agent-os`.
- Publish: cron `5607c915ae16`, every 6h, script `vault-sync.sh` — vault → mirror → commit → push.
- Change log: cron `59d058c423f7`, daily 06:00 → `03_shared/vault-updates-log.md`.
- Write isolation: jimmy → `02_agents/jimmy/`, leonard → `02_agents/leonard/`.
## Verify
Manual sync: `bash "$HERMES_HOME/scripts/vault-sync.sh"`
```bash
bash "$HERMES_HOME/scripts/vault-sync.sh"
cd "C:/Users/fight/AgentOS" && git log -1 --format='%an <%ae> | %s'
**user:** ok write the obsidian to the gitea and fix all
**assistant:** The Obsidian vault is on Gitea, and the loose ends are closed.
## Obsidian vault → Gitea
`Tony_tech/personal-agent-os` @ `342c7d1` (verified against the remote, not just locally). **96 files** under the vault subtree, including content that had never left this machine: `04_projects/phoenix-salon/`, `04_projects/ashbot/status.md`, `04_Daily/2026-09-12.md`, `02_agents/jimmy/`, `facts/` + `sessions/`, and the archived legacy notes. Mirror verified **byte-identical** to the canonical vault (`diff -r` clean), both repos clean.
## Fixed
1. **Dead remote removed** — `Documents\Obsidian Vault` has no `origin` any more (that repo's Gitea project is gone). It keeps local history; the mirror is what publishes.
2. **Redundant cron job retired** — removed `41f434196ae0` ("Vault Gitea sync (signal only)"). Its role was fully covered by the other publisher, and its "signal only" allow-list was already dead. Remaining vault jobs:
- `5607c915ae16` — renamed **"Obsidian vault -> Gitea (publish)"**, every 6h.
- `59d058c423f7` — `vault-change-log`, daily 06:00.
- (If you'd rather have the daily 17:00 cadence back instead of 6-hourly, say so — one command either way.)
3. **OneDrive legacy vault rescued, not lost** — its 9 notes were the only content on this box not in the canonical vault. Archived to `10_archive/onedrive-second-brain-vault-2026-07/` (Meta/, Projects/, Resources/, README), byte-verified identical to the source, and now on Gitea.
4. **`src/obsidian-vault` proven redundan
**user:** fix all
**assistant:** Both deleted and verified gone. That closes the vault consolidation.
## Deleted
- `C:\Users\fight\src\obsidian-vault` (658K) — git-verified ancestor of the canonical vault, 7 commits behind, remote already dead.
- `C:\Users\fight\OneDrive\Desktop\obsidian-second-brain-vault` (103K) — its 9 notes were archived into the vault first and pushed to Gitea (`10_archive/onedrive-second-brain-vault-2026-07/`, byte-verified identical, 10 files confirmed on the remote).
Backups existed before deletion: content was on disk in the vault **and** confirmed on Gitea.
## Also fixed in this pass
- **Old skill removed.** `agentos-vault-sync` described the architecture you just replaced (it claimed the AgentOS path *was* the vault). Replaced with `obsidian-vault-publish`, which documents the real topology, the mirror rationale, and the six traps that bit us today.
- **Memory corrected.** Two entries were stale — one said the recall vault was AgentOS, one said "do not write to src\obsidian-vault" (now deleted). Merged into one accurate entry; memory down from 98% → 93%.
## Two "vault" folders I deliberately did NOT touch
Neither is a vault, so deleting them would have been a mistake:
- **`C:\Users\fight\Documents\Vault`** — it's a **plaintext secrets store**: 12 key files (`gitea-access.txt`, `AgentMailKey.txt`, `ORK.txt`, `VPS.txt`, `tokens_*.txt`, …). Not vault content, and it's *outside* OneDrive so it isn't cloud-synced. Worth knowing it's sitting in plaintext under Documents — happy to m
**user:** where is the william voice for tts?
**assistant:** Not configured — there's no William voice set anywhere on this box.
**What's actually set:** jimmy's `config.yaml` has **no `tts:` block at all**, so TTS runs on defaults → provider `edge`, voice **`en-US-AriaNeural`**. Leonard, coach and ashbot don't have a `tts:` block either. The remember-AriaNeural note in the vault traces to the 8/30 local-PC setup, not to this profile's config.
**The voice itself exists** — Edge ships exactly one William, confirmed live against the catalog (322 voices total):
- `en-AU-WilliamMultilingualNeural` — "Microsoft William Multilingual Online (Natural) — English (Australia)"
**I grepped the whole box for "william"** (configs, .env, scripts, vault, logs): no TTS reference anywhere. The only hits were unrelated — a GitHub handle `0xwilliamortiz` in two Athena Oracle notes, reviewer names in cached Angi/HomeAdvisor pages, and the log line of your own question.
So: nothing to find, nothing broken — it was never set. To make it the voice:
```
hermes config set tts.edge.voice en-AU-WilliamMultilingualNeural
```
Want me to set it for jimmy, or for the other profiles too? (Note it's Australian, and multilingual — the closest American male is `en-US-AndrewMultilingualNeural`, and if you meant a *British* William there isn't one; en-GB has Ryan/Thomas.)
