+# gbp-snapshots — Convention
+
+**What lives here:** raw Google Business Profile snapshots for Phoenix Salon + Spa. Each snapshot is a **point-in-time capture with zero analysis** (no recommendations, no severity, no threats — those belong in `analysis/`).
+
+## Naming convention
+- Clean audit runs: `YYYY-MM-DD-audit-N.md` (N = audit run number)
+- Targeted re-checks / verification: `YYYY-MM-DD-recheck.md`
+- Owner-dashboard data (Tony/Ashley access): `YYYY-MM-DD-dashboard.md`
+
+## How to fill
+1. Copy `TEMPLATE.md` → new dated file.
+2. Fill every field with observed values; use the status vocabulary (`NOT_PRESENT` / `NOT_OBSERVED` / `Unknown`).
+3. Never analyze or infer inside a snapshot — analysis goes in `analysis/`.
+4. Template is aligned with DOP `docs/templates/gbp-snapshot-intake.md` v1.2.
